How it Works

1. Consultation & Design

It’s vital that your greenhouse suits all your needs, so this is a crucial stage. Our experienced specialists will take time to understand your requirements then guide you through your options to ensure you make all the right choices. From bases and flooring to useful added extras and finishes that blend with your outdoor space, you’ll have our utmost attention when it comes to designing your bespoke greenhouse.

2. Site Survey

We offer a thorough service, ensuring your greenhouse installation runs smoothly. We’ll arrange a site visit at a convenient time, during which we’ll check base requirements and ease of access. If access is restricted there may be a need to carry materials through your home, which is vital for us both to know in advance. We’ll also assess whether the size of the chosen greenhouse is suitable, and advise on prime orientation.

3. Place Order

Once your greenhouse design has been agreed, depending on the chosen manufacturer we’ll either take a deposit from you then place the order on your behalf with the balance to be paid to us on installation, or you may be required to pay the full amount directly to the manufacturer on placing the order.

4. Delivery & Installation

You will be quoted an estimated delivery schedule directly by the manufacturer. As a general rule of thumb, greenhouses will take 20 weeks from order to delivery, with installation, if you require it, by our own team arranged as closely as possible to the day of delivery at a time to suit you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a base for my greenhouse?

It is essential that a base and foundations are correctly prepared for your greenhouse. A range of different base styles are available, and you can rely on us for advice on making the right choice. Our experts recommend the base is the minimum size for the individual building ordered and, to ensure the stability of your greenhouse, the base must be firm and level.

Can you take away an existing garden building such as a shed?

We have our own in-house team of base installers who are also able to remove or relocate any existing garden buildings to prepare the site for the new structure. During our site visit we will assess what needs to be done and will include the cost in our quote ready for you to approve.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Guarantees are available on all our garden buildings although they do vary depending upon which type of building you choose. You are welcome to ask us about guarantees during your consultation.

What installation services do you offer?

We pride ourselves on providing a genuine end-to-end service when it comes to the design and installation of greenhouses. Absolutely everything can be taken care of, including bases and flooring as well as additional extras such as shelving, drainage solutions, added ventilation, shading and fleeces and fixing kits for hanging baskets.

Do I need to treat my greenhouse?

To maintain the quality and appearance of your timber-framed greenhouse for many years to come, we recommend a regular treatment to help prevent weathering, particularly in locations that are exposed to high winds, direct rainfall and sea air. In addition and for all types of greenhouses, all ironmongery should be regularly oiled to keep it moving smoothly, and the greenhouse should be kept well-ventilated to allow any condensation to evaporate.
